BEST BEACH EVER!!!!! Not kidding. After leaving Lisbon, we drove down the coast to Albufeira, dropped off our things at the room, and headed for the beach. Now, I’m not much of an ocean (or lake, or pond…) person. I love to be near the ocean but not usually IN the ocean. But this turned out to be the exception. The water was SOOOO warm and the waves were really fun – once I got over my fear of (1) sharks and (2) being drown by a huge wave crashing down on me. We spent the whole day here and loved every minute. Then…..you guessed it! pastéis de nata
