Well…..we just couldn’t get enough of Lisbon! So….we went back! And guess what we discovered? pastéis de nata OH JOY! See those little round tarts in the picture below. They are little shells of goodness. Once we tried one, we had to keep trying them all over the city – just to compare of course. And they were ALL good! Anyway, we did take some out from eating the tarts to also do some sightseeing. We took a boat tour that was absolutely spectacular. Our hosts were super nice and friendly and it was such a pleasure to just relax on the sailboat while viewing Lisbon from the water.
Then we hopped back in the car to drive to a little “out of the way” beach with caves. We had fun exploring the caves and splashing around in the water. Our final stop was at the city market…where, of course, there were more tarts!
